A lesson in choreography using Nora's Ark
Using an excerpt from Nora's Ark, A Jazz Musical, Eli Yamin work with NYSTEA participants to organically choreograph a number.
Each actor assumed a character (animals on the ark) with a unique action.
They were given a specific number of bars to count between action and freeze.
Then they were set loose.
This took less than 10 minutes to create.
